Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the HandsOffapp (“the App”), provided by JMG Labs(“we,” “us”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with the Apple App Store Terms of Service and these Terms.

What the App does

HandsOffhelps you reduce distractions by letting you block selected apps during chosen hours and rewarding focused time. The App relies on Apple’s Screen Time frameworks and on you keeping the relevant permissions enabled. HandsOff is a personal productivity and digital-wellbeing tool; it is not a medical device and does not provide medical, mental health, or professional advice.

Subscriptions and purchases

  • Some features require a paid subscription or one-time purchase, billed through your Apple App Store account.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the period.
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
  • Payments, refunds, and billing are handled by Apple in accordance with the App Store terms.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the App only for your own lawful, personal use and not to interfere with, reverse engineer (except as permitted by law), or attempt to disrupt the App or the services it relies on.

Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that blocking will function perfectly in all circumstances, as it depends on Apple’s frameworks and your device configuration.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JMG Labs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
